2024 Conway Classic Blast!!

Team Check- In Information
There will be an online check in that teams need to do. You will confirm your rosters through the AES check in. Coaches are ALSO required to check in at your playing facility before your first game on Saturday where you will pick up your player bag tags!! If you have made changes to your USAV roster since the time of submission, please bring an updated copy to the tournament site director.
 
The site director will be at the front table doing team check-ins. AM Wave Check in will be from 7:15-8:00am. PM Wave Check-In will be from 2:00-3:00pm. All rosters are final once pool play begins.
  
General Information for Parents/Coaches/Spectators

 

Ticket Sales

·      Prices: $12 one day pass/$20 weekend pass. Advanced ticket sales here:  https://conwayjuniorsvolleyballclub.ticketspice.com/conway-classic-blast

·       Tickets will also be sold at the door. 

·       kids 10 & Under FREE

·       Wristbands are Non-Replaceable, and non-transferable. Do not lose them! They will allow you in and out of any facility.

·       Spectators need to wear your wristband for re-admittance. Players and Coaches do not need a wristband; we will allow entrance to players in uniform.

Tournament Schedule

·       Schedules are currently posted on the AES Website and can be found at this link- https://www.advancedeventsystems.com/ by searching the Conway Classic Blast. (if you could please tell your parents how to find the schedule that would be awesome!! We had a LOT of questions at the front tables last year on this.) 

·       Saturday AM Wave begins at 8AM; PM Wave begins at 2:30Pm at Don Owens, McGee, and HPER & CJV Facility. Doors will open at 7AM. Court Entrances will be clearly marked.

·       Sometimes there are last minute changes to the schedule. Always check your playing schedule the night before and the morning of the tournament to be sure your play times have not changed.

·       Please allow plenty of time for parking and getting to your court!

 

 

Playing Locations

  • Don Owens Sports Center: 10 Lower Ridge Rd, Conway, AR

  • McGee Center: 3800 College Ave, Conway, AR

  • UCA HPER Center: 201 Donaghey Ave, Conway, AR

  • CJV Facility: 1055 Jeanette Dr, Conway, AR

Carl Stuart Middle School (CSMS): 2745 Carl Stuart Rd Conway, AR
 
HPER Center Parking: There is a lot located next to the HPER center. You MUST park in a white colored spot, past the yellow spots. Parking in a yellow spot may result in a ticket.
 
CJV Parking: We have a gravel parking lot, with overflow parking in the grass available. We will also have signs pointing you to an additional parking lot at our neighboring building that will be available Saturday after 9am, and on Sunday. (You will continue driving past the CJV entrance, turn right on Tilk Rd, and turn into the parking lot for the Vacation Tour's building. This lot also has easy access to our entrance located in the breezeway.) 
 
HPER CENTER ADDITIONAL RULES: If you are playing at the HPER center- there are 2 rules that we ask from all players and parents. 1) the walking track above the courts is off limits. No one can be on the walking track for any reason. 2) The cardio equipment room before you walk in the gym is also off limits. Please do not allow players or parents to mess with this equipment! PLEASE stress this to your teams at the HPER- we appreciate it!  
 
T-Shirts & Crewnecks
There will be t-shirts, hoodies and crewnecks available for sale at each location with the Conway Classic Blast logo! These are limited quantities so make sure to get your shirts on Saturday because they will sell out fast! We accept cash or card for these. 
Concessions/Hospitality
There will NO concessions at any facility. We will be selling bottled water, but outside food/drinks are not allowed in these buildings. We ask that if you bring coolers or food, that you please keep them outside and have your players/parents eat or drink those items outside of them gym.
**There will be a hospitality room for coaches and officials. Coaches we will have a designated table of snacks, food, and drinks for you and a catered lunch both days. If you need help locating the hospitality room at your location, please ask the site director.
